STO Intelligence LLC is a Texas limited liability company providing turnaround assurance and analytics services to industrial operators. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this site only, not the separate services we deliver under an engagement.

We collect very little. This site runs no advertising, sets no tracking cookies, and does not build profiles of its visitors.

We collect information in three ways, all of which start with you choosing to share it:

• Contact inquiries. When you submit a form on this site, the details you enter are transmitted to us and stored so we can respond and follow up. Depending on the form, this includes your name, company or operator, email, phone, site or location, facility type, event timing, area of interest, and your message. We use it only to prepare for and follow up on our conversation with you.
• Call bookings. The “Book a call” option takes you to our scheduling page, hosted by Microsoft. If you book, you provide your name, email, and your answers to a short set of intake questions so we can prepare for the call. Microsoft processes that information on our behalf.
• Voluntary data contributions. If you take part in our founding-contributor program described on the Vision page, you may share project schedules and gate logs. We use this material as you provide it, including identifying detail, so we can categorize, normalize, and benchmark your events and show you where you stand. We keep it confidential, and we never disclose your data, or anything that could single you out, to another contributor. What others see is aggregated, never traceable back to you. Participation is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this policy alone.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type in its server logs, as nearly every website does, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

We use the information you share only to:

• respond to your inquiry and understand whether we are a fit for your event,
• schedule and prepare for a call you request,
• deliver and improve the services you ask us about,
• and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not send automated marketing from this site, and we do not act on your information in any way you would not expect from reaching out to a consulting firm.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on a small number of established service providers to operate, and they handle information only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Microsoft, for email and the call-scheduling page (see the Microsoft Privacy Statement).
• Cloudflare, for hosting, security, and receiving and storing the details you submit through this site (see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
• Our infrastructure and database providers, who store the inquiries and contact details you submit, on our behalf and under our instructions, so we can manage and respond to them.

Data you contribute to our benchmark is never shared with another contributor in a form that identifies you. Others see only aggregated results.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, but that is the exception, not the routine.

Our published business number accepts both calls and text messages, and texts are answered by an automated (AI) assistant that discloses itself as such. You begin the conversation by texting us. We do not add you to any marketing list, and message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, or any SMS opt-in information, with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

This site does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner to click through. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required before any such technology is used.

We keep the information you send only as long as we need it to respond, to carry out an engagement, or to meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping requirements, after which we dispose of it. Contributed data is retained under the terms of the separate founding-contributor agreement.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information in our care, including the security controls built into the Microsoft and Cloudflare platforms we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we treat your information with the care our work demands.

You decide what to send us, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, and we will honor those that apply.

STO Intelligence operates in the United States, and the information we collect is processed here. This site is intended for a North American audience and is not directed at, or marketed to, people in the European Union. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

This site is built for industry professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
